The latest recipient of the most prestigious Nobel Prize is Shri Abhijit Binayak Bandyopadhyay. He received this prize for his wonderful contribution to the field of Economics. This great man is the second Indian to get the award in the same subject after famous Prof. Dr. Amartya Sen. Prof. Abhijit Binayak Bandyopadhyay felt for the poverty of the slum-dwellers and backward areas. He wanted to alleviate their sufferings. This great man was born on 21st February in 1961 in Mumbai.
