In such a situation, people are not allowed to leave their homes or travel freely. Covid-19 or coronavirus has spread all over India. A lot of people are getting affected daily. This deadly coronavirus has snatched away many lives. To curb the spread of coronavirus, the central and state authorities are working hard. But day by day, this deadly coronavirus takes a firm grip over India. So, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has announced a complete lockdown in our country.
As there is no vaccine for coronavirus, there is no other way to control the situation. Hence, Narendra Modi has declared a nationwide lockdown as a preventive measure against the Covid-19 pandemic in India. People remain confined during this lockdown. All transport services such as road, air, and rail have been suspended except transportation of essential goods, fire, police, and emergency services. Even all educational institutions, industrial establishments, and hospitality services have been closed. This lockdown has left a major impact on human life. A huge number of people have become jobless after lockdown. There is a prolonged economic slowdown in India. The GDP growth rate has fallen down considerably. Millions of migrant workers have lost their jobs and are going through an economic crisis. The students have greatly been affected.
They have lost their energy to continue their studies. Though online learning is going on, it is not possible for each and every student.
