Direct Speech: Jack said, “I shall be 22 tomorrow.”
Indirect Speech: Jack said that he would be 22 the following day.
Direct Speech: Aparupa said to me, “I have been reading since morning.”
Indirect Speech: Aparupa told me that she (Aparupa) had been reading since morning.
Direct Speech: Rajan said, “I do the work.”
Indirect Speech: Rajan said that he (Rajan) did the work.
Direct Speech: Ranjan said, “The matter shall be decided here.”
Indirect Speech: Ranjan said that the matter would be decided there.
Direct Speech: The little boy said to me, “I want to meet my father.”
Indirect Speech: The little boy told me that he (the little boy) wanted to meet his (the little boy’s) father.
Direct Speech: The boy said, “I have passed the examination.”
Indirect Speech: The boy said that he had passed the examination.
Direct Speech: The boys said, “We are playing cricket now.”
Indirect Speech: The boys said that they were playing cricket then.
Direct Speech: The man said, “I have been suffering from fever.”
Indirect Speech: The man said that he had been suffering from fever.

Direct Speech: Rathin said, “I walk for an hour every morning.” (Note: অভ্যাসগত কাজ বোঝাচ্ছে, তাই Tense এর কোন পরিবর্তন হচ্ছে না)
Indirect Speech: Rathin said that he works for an hour every morning.
Direct Speech: Samuel said, “You are half an hour late.”
Indirect Speech: Samuel said that he (Swami) was half an hour late.
