Sir,
With due and humble respect I would like to lay before you the following matter for your kind consideration.
I have been reading in your school for the last three years. Now I am a student of class IX of vour school. I stood second according to merit in the last Annual Examination. My father is the only earning member of our family consisting of five members. He gets a monthly salary amounting to Rs. 2500/ – only. My uncle also helped us financially. But unfortunately he has shifted to Mumbai. He has to maintain his family there. Hence he is now unable to help us. So it is now quite impossible for my father to meet my educational expenses with his meagre income.
In the circumstances I would like pray to you to grant me a free-studentship without which it will not be possible for me to continue my studies further.
